Not sure dude. I have the 12l tank which I can put the fry in initially. If I can partition my 100l effectively then I can maybe move the 2 adult Angels back into the 300l and move the fry from the 12l to the divided 100l with the GBR's. From there I have no idea!

Just make sure that you will be able to house them in a bigger tank in about 2 weeks or so. 12L is very small.

Remember you can come take the old 3ft for free. But yeah just try. Hope all goes well. I would suggest that you cut off the leaf which the wrigglers are on and place it in the 12L for raising. Just keep the wrigglers in water and watch out for too much flow etc. They aren't attached very strongly.

Thanks for the offer. I would like to take you up on that. Are you at home next weekend? I have to collect Alanod from wolf in Milnerton.

You still looking for any plants?

The problem is the wigglers are on a piece of driftwood which I can't remove without wrecking everything else. I thought about sucking them up with a turkey baster but I'm worried I might damage them.

No don't suck it up. I'm only home this weekend. Not the next, unfortunately, but will be again the next.

I still have Angel fry, which haven't become free swimming yet. I need to do a water change but the fry are on the top of a piece of driftwood so if I drop the water they will be exposed! Hope all is going to be ok...wc is a week overdue.

Angel fry were free swimming when I got home last night. I have scooped them up and put them in my 12l for now. Felt really bad as the parents swam around and around looking for the fry :(

Hope my LFS will take them from me if I'm ever successful with this endevour. First I need to repay the favour from Razer. These Angels are so much better than the ones I see in the LFS.

I know that feeling. My Angels bit me when I removed the wrigglers. And they can bite.. damn. Show us some pics!

And PS: No need to repay back or anything. Pay it forward. I really don't want any more angels. I have 4 of the fry batch left but these are runts - very small, and then the 3 adults which are giving me a headache. The pair which formed your angels broke up and a new pair was formed :( But then again, the female in the new pair has better genes.

Maybe when you want to get rid of your SAE's... :p But they get too big.

I really felt awful watching them searching frantically for their babies but they would have been eaten any day now.

My SAE are the biggest fish in my tank! They have gotten seriously huge. They have now taken to eating flake food with the other fish! Idiots!
