You can "cheat" and get Zetlight LEDs, and a Zetlight WiFi Connector.
With the Zetlight app on your phone, you can set the lights for different times.

That 2 foot looks very nice, btw.
I think that Betta loves the shrimp it has keeping it company.

I have searched online, but can't find anything.
How difficult would it be to determine these values?
Each light has a number of LEDs, each rated at a specific wattage.
The lumens per light are also given.

I know nothing of PAR, Lumens or W/Gallon.
All I do know is that my plants are growing nicely on all my 2ft and 3ft tanks, which are all about 32cm deep.
Haven't tried them on the deeper 4ft yet, but once I have saved up some money for 2 Lancia ZP1200 I will test them as well.

I have in a previous post indicated that the penetration is not that good. I went out and bought again for my 1000 liter tank . I have 4 ( 895 planted version) with rated 2900 lumens per unit. My concern is I am getting some red plants that need medium light . But due to my depth 70 cm ( 10 cm substrate already in ) I don't think they will make it. Let's see.

I must say with the controller and water resistance of unit it is definitely a great product. I am converted

Using the Rotala Butterfly app, and inputting the information on my 3ft tank together with the Lancia ZP895, I got the following:
    Tanks are 90 x 32 x 36, light is 8cm above surface, substrate is 3cm.

    PAR @ Depth: 154
    LUX @ Depth: 4832
    Lumens/Watt: 81.5
    Lumens: 2567
    LSI: 5.75
    Watts/Liter: 0.30
    Watts/Gal: 1.15
    Sq m: 0.2880
    Tank liters: 103.68
    Tank US gallons: 27.39

    On a standard 2ft tank (60 x 32 x 32)and using the ZP590 the information is as follows:

    PAR @ Depth: 170
    LUX @ Depth:4418
    Lumens/Watt:81.5
    Lumens:1540
    LSI:5.18
    Watts/Liter:0.31
    Watts/Gal:1.16
    Sq m:0.1920
    Tank liters:61.44
    Tank US gallons:16.23

Lights are mounted on standard Zetlight adjustable Acrylic brackets, that keep the lights 5.5cm above the tank rim.

@Pezulu @Ly I have been considering the Zetlight for some time now, the only thing keeping me away at this stage is the price. Looking at what it does and how it works I am all for it and going to save up some cash to get one.

Depends on size of tank and how many you need. I would maybe look at the 6400 version buying only one

I like the Lancia series from Zetlight, as they are (relatively) cheap when compared to other lights.
THey are much more expensive than normal T5/T8 lights, but when compared to Odyssey 1.2m lights as an example, they are brighter, cheaper and last much longer.
The fact that they can be customised is a big plus for me.

Plant growth in my 2ft low tech tank is much better than when previously using the Odyssey Dual 24W.
The tank looks brighter and the light is much more unobtrusive than the bigger Odyssey units.

2 pics, taken a few days apart, the first with the Odyssey light, the second with the Zetlight.
Finally, a picture of the tank taken today (7 weeks later.)

    With Odyssey Dual 24W

    With Zetlight Lancia ZP4000 590

After more plants were added. Notice the growth of moss on the coconut. (7 weeks later)

Do u think the zetlight Lancia zp 4000-438 will work well in a standard low tech tank ... the tank is 10 gallons i think it's 35 liters . 50 cm long ... will this light do well for some medium light plants
