2foot planted tank

Ive recently setup this 2 foot tank unfortunately it's to big for the nano competition.

Ive used playsand as substrate and got a cascade 300 hang on back filter. The lighting is a clamp on light with a 20watt daylight bulb and the plants are growing nicely.

Currently I've got some white clouds and a very small kribensis that I want to grow out and move later on. I've seen there are a few members who have kept kribensis and was wondering if a pair can be kept in a 2ft tank?

Are you using CFL bulbs?

I have done single pair of kribensis in a 2ft and it didn't end well...so be prepared to separate them.

 

Yes only one light is on in the pics. So far i only hsve one kribensis so maybe I'll move him to the 4ft and put my rams in there

 

Nice start. I also bought one of those clamp on desk lamps, thinking I'd clamp it onto the vertical tank side. Didn't realize that they only clamp onto horizontal surfaces like yours. Ended up hanging mine from the wall, which works quite well.

 

I also thought I'll clamp it to the side, but the lamps neck is to short, luckily I had that piece of perspex

 

Whats the wattage of desk lamp?

Thank you! Yes it is. All I need now is co2

I did a bit of a rescape and added DIY co2, please let me know what you think and I some advice from those with green fingers would be great! I'm quite impressed with the co2 didn't think I would get enough pressure to use the diffuser
