1m Silver dollar tank

    Hey all dis is my 1m Tank for silver dollars Let me Know what u think thinking of adding Little More Light (mybe 2 CFL) And Pool sand (its like R65.80 for 40Kg!) i dont like my currenty Gravel i am stocking
    Pleco x1 (medium)
    Silver Dollers x4 (Small to Almost big)
    Black Widows x2
    Harequins x2
    Im trying to get rid of the Harequins and Black widows and buy more silver Dollars ... i like silver dollars i have a Dolpih internal F-1200 (max flow 450L/h) set on low .... What do u guys think Sould i Go with pool sand ?

    By all means go for the fps... i like silica sand,it makes a nice substrate in my oppinion - i usualy break the "monotony" of it by mixing it with some pea gravel...

    As for adding more Dollars...Id advise against it - a plec and four adult dollars will be plenty in your tank...

    Nice tank.

    I agree with azurekoi on the sand.. It's awesome.. BUT A PAIN IN THE REAR END TO WASH!!!

    You wont need 40kg. 10-20kg should be more than enough. I used 40kg in my 1.8m tank.

    Your tank will soon be too small for the Dollars though.

    But have fun with them while you can..

    the Smallest bag i can buy i 40KG but its only 65 rand so ... wil have extra too haha
