Hey guys I have been thinking about setting up a second tank for sometime now with my first all sorted out, its at the point where I can just sit back and enjoy and do the weekly maintenance I like doing things to the extremes as you can see with the sump/filters that I have built myself and they work very well.
I was thinking about setting up a 4ft tank but we all know that keeping fish might be a hobby but there is a lot of hard work that you put in to it. As I'm a student 3rd year now honours next year time or money is unfortunately not something I have a lot of so the 4ft tank will be a project in the distant future.
After setting Kellys tank up for Solly I think that the siamese fighters have def got my attention they really have a one of a kind personality and are really amazing fish, that's why I'm looking at setting up a 1ft planted betta nano tank instead. That's where you guys come in.
I know this might be asking a lot but I would really like a 1ft tank +-20-30l, canopy and heater as a give away. There must be at least one person that can make this happen for me. If giving it away isn't an option a very good price would also be nice but pref free as I can then put more into the rest of the setup. Ill be busy studying the rest of the week and will only be able to pick it up from the 7th of June. If anyone can help in the Pretoria area till about Midrand or there about just send me a pm please. I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot. Stephen(Snyper564)

accounts guys hardly ever have time with the workload at 3rd year and honours level. Most of my friends stuvying acc's are always at their books most of the time.

Im sure someone here has a tank lying around which you can pick up

    Hey bud

I have a small tank with goldfish,it belongs to my younger brother who never gives them food or cleans the tank (i have to do those things),i don't know how many litres it is but i think around 20,the only problem is that i don't know what to do with the goldfish and i don't know if my parents will allow me to give it away.(will check with them when they get back from business)

Edit:it has a plastic canopy that came with the tank,i have a spare heater which i only use in emergency (not sure about the wats but it worked perfect when i used the tank for my convicts when they were still small),also comes with a small bubble filter.

Hey sniper, glad to hear you came right. Only reading this now, I realised I could have helped you out with a tank and hood. With regards to the heater - buy a new one rather as you have no clue as to how a second hand one was treated or how "fickle" the thermostat might be.
