Just a quick update after my searches for a tank some time ago.

Got a fairly standard 90 size with inbuilt sump on the side.
In the sump I am running a heater, purigen, matrix and filter pads and the return pump
Lighting is the standard Odyssea 2x 39w T5 unit with 1x growlux and 1x 10k bulbs.

Substrate is Flourite black and I dose Seachem's Flourish and Excel with my 2 weekly water changes.

This is what the basic tank looked like right after I got it:

Nice Lucas - update your location on your profile.

BIG change from day 0 till now - how long has it been? BTW do you have any fish in that tank?

    Later Ferdie

The tank has taken about 3 months to get from where it was to what is today.

Battled with so much algae that I almost axed the whole thing during the 2nd month, but I persevered and added a pleco. Solved my algae problems in 3 days!

I currently have one male siamese fighter and seven rummies in the tank. Looking for some nice schooling fish to add but running a bit dry on finding any :S
I realise I limit myself with the betta but once you see what he looks like, you won't begrudge me my indulgence. Will post some photos of him later.

    Thanks Siamese :)

Added 5 Pepper cory's today to have a bit more activity at the bottom level of the tank.

Will get some photos of the tank tonight to get some clear shots in :)

Yeah as Wyv said, I put 5 in the 150L and 3 in the 60L , quite liking the activity that it suddenly generated in the tank with the current fish resorting hierarchy :D
Quite funny watching the 5 in the big tank as they join the rummies in what I call "Ride the current" where they sit in the middle of the tank and swim against the return pump stream.

Did some trimming and a little bit of rescaping yesterday together with my usual weekly water change. This morning my rummies are grabbing air from the surface and I have one dead Cory :( Grabbing my Stability from Wyv in an hour and then praying everyone else in the tank is still fine .
