ya, im not sure if the green on the old leaves is like that due to it being old, or because i didnt dose enough iron previously.. i'll take a fts when the hc grows in.. i'll take b4 and after shots weekly to compare.. i just re-planted them yesterday so we have to see how they turn out.. thanks for the compliments
almost all my neons died....... ;(....... 50 of them and a whole bubch of other fish.. I Did too big a water change and they all got affected by the tds change.. Hard lesson learnt.. Basically i didn factor in the gravel, plants and decor.. So instead of a 50percent change it was more like a 75percent change Im angry with myself though because i did this before.. Even though it was 3yrs ago..
So what have you got left? And are you planning on re-stocking? I think it would look awesome with a nice big shoal of Galaxy Rasboras
im going to get anothe 60 neons from petstop.. I miss my red and blue mass also getting more pandas..
@shihr Very nice growth you got there but to be honest I liked it more a few updates back when you could still clearly see the scape. When I saw the scape right at the beginning I would not have thought you will go this route.
@Vis, I agree with you. I liked the 'central mound' in a sea of glosso look. This is great too but I too prefered the older look. No offense Richard.
Ya, i know exactly what u mean.. I dont like it either.. I can see how ppls scapes turn into this..i just got caught up with all the new plants and kept adding and adding and adding.. Doesn matter though.. In a few months I'm going to get a new 90 cm tank.... Got lights and co2 already.. So just need tank, filter and substrate.. Going to use that to house all my extra plants so i can use this tank to mess about with all the scapes of my dreams every few months with whatever plants i want! Hehe..
I actually disagree. A few updates ago the tank looked stunning. If you were to post this tank as another thread making it out to be a completely different tank, it would still be stunning. I think comparing the 2 is where the trap comes in... they are 2 very different scapes and different designs. I actually prefer this one... I love the variation in colour, texture and depth you have created. I love the "un-uniform" look you have given... whilst still having nice overall balance.
Nothing wrong with this tank. Its all personal choice. I am the kind of guy that like good looking hard scapes filled with some plants. Really liked yours in the beginning.
