    Hey Shihr.

I'm just trying my luck. Was wondering if I could get a summary of the 26pages(make that 27). But I've been reading through it
bit by bit, and there's so much information, that I don't think it could be summarised. All good:blink1: Excellent tank you got there. I wish to be at your level one day

LOL, I kinda know the feeling man. I just want some kickstart to having the mindset to absorb the whole planted tank thing. Any good books to look out for perhaps? or links to some valuable info? I want to know everything. And maybe become like most of you, and be a resource to information.

ps. TASA is the best. :bigsmile:I'm gonna make sure I'm on here everyday just so I don't miss out on anything.

well heres a vid of my tank atm..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgkEx-dmKvg

i left overseas for 3wks and my friend fed the fish for me. my pump and co2 was off accidentally when i was doing maintenance before i left so there was only plants as filtration as the lights were the only thing that was working..

luckily for the duck weed i think it soaked up the excess ammonia and nitrates that formed..i think in total only one or 2 neons died plants really took off though! :)

ya well when the duckweed took over it basically turned it into a low tech setup! lower lights and no ferts besides from fish poop :p im glad it turned out this way.. else by the time i got back the tank would have been sucked dry of ferts and the plants would have looked bad im sure!

thanks for the complements.. im going to get rid of all the duckweed tonight though

Wow shihr that ground cover really filled up nicely, I must admit in the begining I thought that it will take a long time to fill the whole ground section but it looks good. Keep up the good work look forward to the next pic after the replant.
