1 foot diy first attempt alla construction site

well im a health and safety officer on a site in mtata......
in my lil container office i had a brainfart....so i bought a 1ft tank and i want to do a rimless(ish)...il explain in a bit...
my challange however is to do entire biuld out of recycled/scrap materials off site......

materials so far
1X tank
Couple pieces of shutter board
and a terrible gameplan but we will see if it works....

P.s .....hahaha yes i know i should be working but this biuld will happen during lunches and tea times(wink wink in case boss is reading)

Hahahaha no no.....plan im sorta making up as i go, okay after much scrounging in storerooms and rubbish bins(must have looked like a nutter...

well did a cover/backing to hide cables,and polystyrene base

next step sealing with wood primer then epoxy(unfortunately only in grey) but will soon overspray black

 

i just realised after coating with primer hope there will be enough leeway between glass tank and base after a coat of epoxy

hahaha update so far was lazy on weekend....
epoxy 1st layer on 2nd on today...

epoxy is dry and tank fits....now to spray black
and try figure out/find some lighting.....
Im going cheat on filtration and just get a HOB....so technically not everything gonna be from the building site
hopefully i can find nice lighting method

The only way to go is a CFL6500k bulb above 18W...or led lighiting
