1.5m back to normal

hey all
thought id put up a pic of my 1.5 m after the 1.2m breakage. eventualy decided to put the oscars , placo , bumblebee cats and pangasius in an old 1.5m i was planning on fixing,

the front panel had a huge crack running down the top left section so i
just siliconed the heck out of it and tried a home made filter as i havent put the divider in yet for an internal,
not sure if its all that great but its been running 2 weeks now and levels and fish are ok .took a 6l glass vase filled it with all the old tanks filtering , put a 1600lper hour pump in with one of those 20cm pump extensions running down the centre all the way to the botom with the different layers of filtering around it.

dont know if im looking for trouble hear ,not sure if i would be able to use this set up on a long term basis , comments please.

will try put close ups on .problem is both tanks are outside so taking pics during the day inposible because of glare.
