Phish man, I'm interested in more information on your discus tanks which have the side overflow box fitted. I assume you have built this yourself.
I'm contemplating a tank build with a rear wall 'weir' overflow into an exterior mounted overflow box, as shown in http://glassreef.com/basics_overflow.php

Do you think this type of system can be utilised with Discus, ie water flow/current?
