LED light ideas for deep planted tank

Hi all!

I want to purchase LED lights for my 120 x 70 x 70cm tank. It would need to be full spectrum for plant growth.

Importing could be an option.

What lights do you use for your deep tanks or does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi

I cutrently use a Iozion 70W led, full spectrum, above my standard 4ft aquarium. The light is suspended above the aquarium by about 40cm, anything closer grows algae, although at this hight the black beard algae still thrives. Light spreads past the end of the 4ft so with your hight it should do the same. If your planning low to moderate light plants this option can work for you with the extra depth of your aquarium which actually is an awesome size. Hope this helps

The Tropius aquarium just looked awesome. Did you have any algae growth on the rocks with your current lights? If yes they will defnitly work for a planted aquarium.

Thank you! Yes I did end up getting algae on the rocks which I personally liked and was great for the Tropheus. That photo was still in the beginning stages of the set up.
