nails

Just a stupid question but can i use steel nails to put in my substrate for my amazon sword because i cant find any iron nails

What you are looking for are mostly referred to as steel nails in any case. You want the softer metal nails used in woodwork. NOT galvanised nails, and not hardened steel nails used to hammer into walls, just the standard mild steel ones, I find the panel pins actually work just nicely.
