    Hi All,

Thought I would share my new layout for my tank.

    But first my new equipment:

    Pressurised Co2
    Inline Co2 Reactor
    13mm Cade lilly pipes
Odyssea T5 24W dual lighting unit
    Co2 Drop checker.

So my tank went from this:

To this: (The water still needs to clear up after all the activity in the tank)

Some of my fish looking on:

This is still a work in progress. So looking forward seeing how the plants get on.

    Regards,
    Ernst

nice start. need to get more plants. so come and get some! also do you use the original tubes in the light unit. if so swop them out for 6500k and 8000k tubes. will get better growth with them.

I replaced the 15000K blue light with a PowerChrome midday 6000K light. Planning on getting another Odyssea unit...

    Very nice.

Now all your tank needs is some moss.

Looks good, I would just move the wood off centre, either to the left or the right. When scaping always think in the same way as with photography - the rule of thirds is the best way to scape a tank to look more natural.

    Hi All,

Thanks for for all the feedback. Any tips and advice will be greatly appreciated.

I think I might just take you up on that.

I'm not clued up on photography.... I'm a programmer, so I'm all about straight lines and things being horizontally and vertically centered. hehe

This is basically a test run for me to see how everything is going. This is my first heavy planted and my first at Co2 (Yes, I'm a newby)... I'll be getting a new tank and some ADA substrate to setup the official scape once everything looks OK and I feel more comfy with the High Tech thing.

Also planning on getting another Odyssea T5 24W dual this weekend.

    Regards,
    Ernst

    Hi All,

    Small update...

My Hemianthus callitrichoides is starting to spread quite nice.... Gonna be a while before it spreads far enough to my taste. I hate this waiting game

The (insert name here... for the life of me cant remember the name :embarrest:) is also getting a nice red color on the top leaves.

Still looking for some more plants to add more "plant mass" to the tank.
