I was sitting fiddling with my camera. I really have no photography skills whatsoever. I have discovered that sitting in almost total darkness, with the tank light off and searching for the various fish using my cellphone's backlight works best to get halfway-decent pics. I had to stop when the camera's battery went flat. But here's some of the results:

Male Kribensis with a Kuhli Loach

    Spotted Climbing Perch

    Angelfish

A very shy Snowball Plec (I think this is a male)

    Albino Ancistrus male
    [IMG]

ATFG male and female, and a Marbled Hatchet
    [IMG]

Green Phantom Plec. (I think she's a female.)

I'm not going to lie - I'm a sucker for little Ctenopoma. That guy (girl?) is adorable. Will be awesome when it grows up. Same for the Green Phantom. Very nice.

    Regards,

That Phantom is already about 14cm long including her tail. I found her in a fish shop yesterday and she was cheap, so I couldn't pass her up. I suspect she's a lady since she's so big already and doesn't have much in the way of odontaides (sp?). I have another smaller green phantom from Sarf, that I'm really hoping is a male, but will have to wait and see. But I think they're different sub-species. The large one has a yellow seam on her tail and the small one doesn't.

The perch is really one of my favorites. He's just so cute. He's going into his own tank soon, before he start eating his tankmates.

Hi Xandoz nice looking fish. What size tank you got there? Also where you get the snowball and green pleco from in Cape Town area? Im struggling to find plecos other than the common and bristlenoses.

    Thanks, @MarcF and @OscaCT
This tank is a 3ft and admittedly, it is overstocked. But I'm setting up a 4ft/270l very soon (the tank is here with all the equipment. I must just move the furniture to put it in its final spot) and another 80l, so the fish will be spread between the 3 tanks.

I got the Snowball, smaller Green Phantom and Starlight Ancistrus (not pictured here) from @sarf. My Albino Ancistrus and larger Phantom came from Panorama Petshop. This was their only Phantom, but they still have Albino and normal Ancistrus and what they labeled as Bull Plecos but when I googled, they look nothing like Bulldog Plecos. They look closer to starlights. I got my Hi-Fin White Plec, Whiptail and normal Ancistrus from Aquatic Vision. They also get some more unusal species in occasionally.
You can also contact @Altum; he can get hold of the more unusual plec species.
