Keep some of the tanks - you will need to overwinter them in it - Oudtshoorn gets a tad to cold to keep them outdoors in Winter...

You will have to make sure that the pond is big and especially deep enough. Oudtshoorn gets very hot in summer and if your pond is too shallow you will fry your fish. Also make sure that the pond will get shade during summer. On the other hand winter time is too cold to keep them outside, so you will have to bring them inside like Azurekoi said. While they are outside you will have to monitor the water temp the whole time to make sure that it is suitable for your guppies especially during the hottest time of the day and early morning hours when it gets the coldest.

Hi guys, thanx for the replys, yes,i kept all my tanks, still guppies in them.. My tank are under a roof but outside, they tend to get a litle hot.but from january till now,the ponds tempreture kept between 26-30,its about 50cm deepand about 2m by 2m. My friend's father has a pond smaller and his pond doesnt have much shade and he keeps them in during winter and summer,he only have 3 huuters in his pond, between 150w and 300w,he said i should make sure all heathers are working properly.. i have 2 300w heaters about 30cm in lenght and a big 1000L 300w heater about 50cm in lenget, planing on buying anoter big one just incase one goes. But i had a few problems ,i had found "blood suckers",not sure what i can do about it, andone pump was to strong,3000l per hour,it sucked 4 fish,so i modified it with net and aquarium wool and its working so far. Ill try to upload some photos,i am proud, the pond looks good
