You could if the pH is the the same. But bottled water normally has a lower pH than tap water. And that shock is fatal to any fish.

They are doing better. Some I can see is very slowly recovering. My Leopard pleco is not white anymore. It is slowly becoming darker. My pearl gourami female is battling. I've added 2 airstones amd a bigger airpump this morning and it looks like it helping.

The water change made a big chang.

I am so happy all my fish is doing much better. They are more active and they eat way better than before. As the problem with the water got sorted out I got some good news from my one molly female.

Thank you @Willem for all the help. If it wasn't for your help, I would have lost way more fish.

I will add some photos tomorrow on how they are improving.

If I may ask, what medicine did you use @Stalker? Think I might have had the same problem a few days ago and could you have pin point it to the chlorine problem in the water or just overall water condition?

The biggest problem was the chlorine.

The water in my tank at that time was as follows:
    NO3 - 10
    NO2 - 1
    GH - 16'd
    KH - 10'd
    PH - 7.2
Cl2 - So high it didn't even show on the chart.

I used Tetra 6 in 1 testing strips.

The medacine I used was Flavine. I talked to somebody a few days ago and he said the Flavine is not actually helping for the chlorine but it is going save my fish bigtime to prevent secondary infection as the chlorine just burns everything of the fish. Like the cherry bard that got burned so badly the flavine prevents the infection and to spread to the other fish. The burn is slowly getting better and she is doing very well. Even my neons is way more active.

Because of the high levels of chlorine in the tap water, Willem told me to add prime andcycle the water with air for a week before I must do a water change. I've done it for the first time over the weekend and the fish is really happy.

@Stalker, thanks for the info and reply, will have to go and visit a few LFS to see if I can get Flavine and will follow the instructions on the water cycling. Will have to get something to test the chlorine levels in the water, only have 5 in 1 testing strips.

Most petshops is selling bottles of Flavine. It really helped my fish to recover faster.

I also add stability on the 6th day I cycled the water and do a water change on day 7.

I moved the 3 Boesemani Rainbow fish back into my big tank today. I watch them with hawk eyes to check that they are doing well. It looks like they enjoy the big 310 litre tank way more than the little 30 tank they use to be in.

I stress everytime when I must do a water change.
