really nice i love all the moss. i dont know if anyone else would agree but maybe add another 2-3 cories as they are schoolers and will be far more fun to watch if there are more of them. i couldnt believe the change in my 2 when i added a few more
thanks for the comments and yes Windfire - i definitely agree with you.
at the moment aqadvisor says im at 90% stock level - i plan to add two more sterbai corys so the current two have some more play buddies and that will take my stock to 102% for the tank size and filtration.
i do weekly water changes so i think it will be fine if i add two more ...i have to wait because at the moment my main mission is to make sure my new oto is healthy.....i have two...one is old and fat and happy...introduced a new one 2 weeks ago and have to make sure he is comfortable before i get the new corys
can anyone tell me what type of moss i have from the pictures?
there are two different types in the tank....one on the big wood (looks to me a bit like christmas moss) and i have a smaller piece of bogwood in the middle of the tank...im not sure what type of moss that is...can anyone ID from my pictures? (maybe look at the closeup pics of the bogwood in the first post of this thread)
thanks for the help with ID if you can!
Java moss
for the oto get a big bowl with water add some large smooth pebbles, some liquid ferts and leave in the sun to collect algae.
After 4 days to a week feed two to four pebbles a day and a rotational basis. In winter the algae grows much slower.
Looks really good, enjoy watching your plants grow!!
