hate it when i go to a lfs and see fish in poor conditions, often with the wrong tankmates as well..
so often shop assistants dont even know what fish you speaking about, if you ask them, much less know how to house them properly...
when i got mine, there were two of them - both same size - in a display tank with tinfoils... i could only take the one, but every week i would visit the lfs i'd check the remaining polypt.. and see how his condition deteriorated especially when compared to the one i got.. wish i could have rescued him as well.. dont see him there anymore, hope someone bought him and takes care of him now.. probably he starved to death or something, coz the little they feed them gets gobbled up by the lighting fast tinfoils before any other fish can get near the food...
