Huge new tank

    On monday i have bought a new 2nd hand tank... 4 foot, must be a custom made since it is a huge tank....i also got gravel, stones, air pump and a heater with the tank... All was only R500[​IMG][​IMG]

    It was a brand name, not sure if they are still around. Know they disappeared at some stage and then returned.

    I have put my fish in the starer tank becuase i didnt had space for my 2 foot

    That glass shelf will not hold the tank. You'll need at least 10mm plywood underneath that tank, with bracing preferably. You also need to put styrofoam between the tank base and the shelf.

    Ooops big mistake.. Try to move it on a solid surface you might regret if you don't move it. @ Kieshara

    Indirectly you have to move it! That glass on which it is placed on will crack and a total disaster will occur. It will not be able so sustain that weight. @Kieshara
    Make sure your tank is on a stable and solid surface and which is level. :alberteinstein:

    @Vis and @Broder help me out as I don't see a cross brace on the right side angle? @Kieshara I would still put styrofoam at the bottom as Broder said.
    Let's hear what they can say and the more experienced folks..
    I'm just sure it is better if their was another brace on the other side.
