I think the main thing as I understand from everyone's input, pictures as well as @Singularity's video is the amount of space you need for a sump. If I am going to create a fishroom, I will install a sump, but for just a 300-400L tank in my lounge, I will stick to a Canister Filter.

Thank you for your input on a sponge filter. I will definately look into one for my Holding Tank
