Some pics of my wife's fish

Hi All

I was wondering if some of you can maybe answer some of my questions regarding my new set up.

it's a 250L Freshwater set up, with an internal filter (water comes in on the one side, runs thru the filter media, and then pumped out by a normal water pump on the other side (think is almost like an internal sump)

1) What should like L/hour be on the return pump? It's currently doing about 680L/hour will this be fine or should I get a bigger pump?

2) I'm currently adding Seachem Stabilizer according to the instruction to the tank while cycling, is this a good thing? It says you can add fish immediately but I figure to wait until end next week?

This is what I can think of now if there is more questions I'll post it again.

Thanks for all the help.

hi guys

i have x10-12 healthy Penguin Tetras (and one black neon tetra that has been adopted by the penguin community) to give to a good community tank home.

approx 2 inches in size, they have been in my tank for approx 7 months. they are fully established and eat like mini piranhas. They live peacefully in a community tank, i even had them for 5 months with my Betta with no problems. all the other fish are gone, only these remain

reason: im moving house, stripping livestock fish out of the tank and starting from scratch at the other end once i clear the snail community out of the tank.

Location: by constantiaberg mediclinic - southern suburbs CPT

they have to be gone in the next two weeks or im giving them to LFS - bring your own bucket/bag

PM me and we will make a plan

Hallo Everyone,

I'm new to the aquarium hobby. Bought a tank for my little one and now mommy's getting hooked.

I'm still completely clueless at this stage and learning through trial and error. Very thankful for having a boy - he wants to roast the fish when they die instead of crying over them else it would've been an ongoing crying session at this stage!

Looking forward to the learning experience, open to advice and hoping to be able to set up a proper aquarium some time in the future.
