How long is a piece of string? ...lol

Are we talking normal Comet or something more fancy? 20cm nose to Caudal peduncle(as Breeders/dealers mesure it) or nose to end of tailfin?

You can get ripped off badly by LFS's when buying large Goldfish - rather go scrounge round koi or pond shops - I used to sell 2 year old Sarrassa Comets with bodylengths of 15 - 18cm (Excluding tailfin) for R50 each when I had my koi shop if that gives you an idea... but I bred them myself in mud dams and just harvested them,so no great financial input from my side...

Grrrr!!..... mainly because of where I live....... my (only) lfs buys my (commets) from me at R5 ea and sells them for R60ea...... It's not worth my while to ship them or deliver them to the bigger centres...... I have started feeding the fry or just leaving the parents with them to enjoy.......

Hi sorry man live in the cape but whould have love to
Some of these LFS dont no what good theve got when a non profit hobbiest (most of the Time) decides to sell to them their large fish considering that they pay 35 to 50 for a Meduim to large goldfish which is not easy for most lfs to find. Then again they have to make a living and pay bills.

Sorry to go off topic but if you where to use a intex frame pool that was used as a pool for a while will the chlorine stay in the plastic or can I high pressure hose it clean and whould it be safe for gold fish and are the intex easy pools any good as ponds for short term goldfish stock pond
