Hi there all,
I've heard so much about this forum, and have been so intrigued.. I spent the last two days browsing, until I got blocked! Too late, I'm already addicted, and so here I am.

I'm a novice fish owner, wanting to learn more on how to make my fish's lives happier and more exciting. I'm fascinated by everything fish, and also slightly frustrated at the price of embarking on this hobbie.

I also realize that few people understand how easy it is to become a fish-junkie... And I suspect that you all will understand...

So  Good to be on board, and looking forward to meeting you!

HEY SIS!!!

Told you it was addictive!! Now tell Ryan to HIDE HIS WALLET. The people here make you POOR POOR POOR.

(But the upside is your fish will be happy... alive... and hopefully not being flushed down the loo by accident any more!)

It wasn't even me!... ok peeps, my sweet husband decided to do me a favour by cleaning out our sand.. he accidentally sucked one of my little plecs out (very little) and... well.... er... unknowingly flushed the poor little guy down the loo :wondering: I'm still recovering from the loss...

Welcome Madam. Rest assured - there's an equal amount of good advice and wallet emptying ideas on the forum, lol!

Welcome to TASA :) I think we all have our little stories of disaster and empty wallets here - don't feel alone :D

Yip, lol :p

We should rather not discuss it - might just scare a new hobbyist away...:blink1:

Luckily here's plenty of advice, so there's no need to waste any money on unnecessary mistakes.

:nurse: Had something similar happen to us. Maybe my lovey will one day tell you guys what happened to our Pretty Tetra. Good news is he is still with us, thru one heck of an experience and all. If he was human, he would have been a "special child".

Lol I think deep down inside all of us we would just have a bed and and toilet in our houses and the rest would be fish tanks

Ok, I have the dumbest question in the world... I have searched this site to death, and I can not find where to start a new thread...? Anybody got the secret...??
