Hi All,

I was at my lfs this morning. They had a shipment of some new corries.

1197511976

The first is what they called Corydoras sp gold. £13 each
And the 2nd Corydoras sp green. £35 each

Though if one looks in the photos, they all seem sort of mixed, so could it be the way the light falls on them. The photos don't do them justice....they are stunning.

The shop manager assured me that they are wild caught in Venezuela.
And bearing in mind, gm fish are banned in the UK, and artificially dyed fish are frowned uppon and very seldom sold. This is the biggest chain of fish shop in the UK and I don't think they would take chances.

I didn't buy any......but I can see myself going back next weekend for the gold ones.

Saw my 1st Gold one about ten years ago...was completely blown away!! Seem to remember that they are colour morphs of the common little Bronze cory... Go for them mate - we all need to buy ourselves a Xmas present from us to us...lol

Wow they do look nice, but a bit too much bling for a little cleaner

Those Corries are beautiful!! Always loved them and I watch my pandas all the time. Razer2007 it's a common misconception thet Corydoras are 'cleaners' they need to fed as well and not just the scraps that evades the rest of your fish.
