Hi guys to make a long story short basicly a pipe moved on my tank and 3/4 of my 4ft tank emptied onto my wooden floors :( and ofcoarse both my Askol heaters are now not working properly , they work but it looks like the contacter is sticking abit.
this brings me to my question i spoke to my friend at the LFS and he has got a
Jager Eheim 300W Heater for me that he will give it to me for R229 is that cheap? and isnt it abit overkill for a 200L of water, it says its rated for 600L-1000L ? at that price i think its worth it though ,a resun 300w is R169

Good quality heater at a good price. Much better that a Resun. Normaly about R300-00.

Reafer... I would buy it! Good price for that heater... Rather have a heater over-rated and therfore UNDERWORKING than under-rated and overworking

I would also opt for the Jager heater - the over usage won't do harm, in fact, I think it might just save you a little on your electricity bill because it will work for shorter periods of time than a 200w heater for example. I do stand to be corrected on this - someone know?

Reafer, a Jager heater will outlast 5 Resun heaters. Go now and buy that Jager
