View Full Version : Tetra Nano 30l Tank - Ideal Fish and other internal filter
Hi
Recently moved house, and looking for some other stocking options for my Tetra Nano, used to have some 10 Neon Tetras and 2 Bronze Corys, any other ideas for fish?
Also not really impressed with the Tetra Whisper Internal Filter, any other suggestions?
Where can I get some "Endlers" from?
Also have a Jabu Nano tank, not sure what we gonna do there ...
Personally i would put either Thread fin rainbows in or a few pigmy puffer fish... HTH
OK like the idea of Threadin rainbws, but dont they get too big? How about Pygmy rasboras, or Sparkling Gouramis? Where can i find these?
As far as i know the threadfins only get about 3cm... but i might be wrong... Maybe azurekoi can help???
As for getting them Pet Stop is the best bet... I know they had some Tuesday when i were there...
Kewl thanks, will look into that then :) where is Pet Stop if I might ask.
In PTA... just check they are one of the sponsers, i'm sure they have their location on TASA otherwise just go to www.petstopsa.co.za (http://www.petstopsa.co.za/) and check where they are there... But they are not online at this stage i see...
Threadfins are great nano fish, but they get a bit larger, I would say 5cm(esp. the males)
Im sure if you ask here on the forum, someone would be able to supply Endlers

Threadfins could be cool,as would some Endlers and Microrasbora.... For a bit more colour,go for the Trigonostigma henglii or espei - the smaller versions of the Standard Harlequin Rasbora.... and never forget the old skool charm of a small shoal of White cloud mountain minnows... Or a 1M,2F trio of Honey gouramis in a nice planted system...
Never had one of those Whisper filters myself, but heard some hassles about it - just get a single corner sponge filter, airdriven, cheap as chips and works like the BOMB - why not run both of them if you want to....
