View Full Version : ID this plant
I got this plant at my local LFS and not too sure what it is .The plant hasnt grown out of its emmersed state yet. so its hard to tell .the new leaves 11099 :)the new leaves suggest that it is sagittaria subulata. Please help thanks .i know the leaves have holes i am treating it with pottasium to get rid of it i, just set up the tank so dont judge me XD
Looks like Echinodorus quadricostatus
could be but the new leaves are long thin triangles like in the sagittaria subulata . So thats what is confusing me
Do the older leaves look almost like a some sort of crypt leaf?(with a slight hint of imagination)
To my knowledge, saggitaria don't have that distinct midrib shown in the pic, so Im sticking with E. quadricostatus.
Kind regards

quadricostatus for me too
the leaves with the ribs are the emmersed leaves which are totally different to the new ones so i think i am going to let this one grow out but it could be either looking at it closely now . thanks for the help both of you :)
