love to hate my clown loaches

hi guys
i got clown loaches and silver dollars in tank.
at feed time the 2 of the loaches nibble , suck or bite on the silver dollars bodies and some time on the eye to.

it really make me angry because i don't like fin nippers. and love cloaches.

what are the doing

I think they can get a little over excited come feeding time, but this sounds pretty strange. If the admins don't mind me posting this link, I suggest you ask on http://forums.loaches.com/. There are some people there that have kept all sorts of loaches for many many years very successfully.

Shy? I think clown loaches are the least shy of all loaches. Mine are pretty active. They do spend some of the day time hiding in a cave, but the rest of the time they are actively out. Are you keeping a school of them? They are very social fish. You need a school of at least 5. Less than that is where the problems come in, like very shy fish that don't come out. Post your question in the loach forum and let us see what the expert loach keepers have to say. I'd also be interested in their response, so PM me the link to your thread you create there.

got 6 loaches they look pretty happy to me just at feeding time two of them act like that. i did go on the site like you said but did not post yet. will let you know
