Thanks @ASMAN
He has started a little bubble nest. I am hoping he would breed with this crowntail female:http://www.tropicalaquarium.co.za/attachment.php?attachmentid=10101&d=1314808521&thumb=1 (http://www.tropicalaquarium.co.za/attachment.php?attachmentid=10101&d=1314808521)
First I want to breed her with a crowntail male but he died. Now she can breed with a halfmoon.

I have moved him now to a 60 cm with other fish because he refused to breed.
So I have breed my white clouds.
I will try an other day and see if he want to breed
He looks stunning, hope you get to breed him:bigsmile:

The male is under the nest and he refuse to leave it...

Thanks Donny
the fry are now over the whole tank and they are VERY tiny
Rooivlerkie

they are still very small. But one is a bit bigger than his/her sisters and brothers.
I feed microworms but I am going to switch to brine shrimp.
I don`t see any dead fry.
Congrats and good luck on raising the fry

I have switch to brine shrimp.
The fry are going on well they are about 5 mm long.
Hopefully they will grow quickly.
Hi Rooivlerkie. Congrats on your spawn. Word of caution - don't over do it with the BBS. They tend to develop swimbladder disorder. Variety if food is the key. Keep them on micro worms, add BBS in small amounts. When the reach about 5-6mm introduce baby flake food and alternate between the feeds. When 7mm start with live Daphnia, frozen bloodworms and micro pellets. then add tiny amounts of Tetra Betta Flakes with Shrimp and Krill. They love this combination, well at least mine does and I raise 97% of my spawns to adulthood. Love your red HM male, take good care of him and the female. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!!!

Thanks for the advice Charles
I do also love that male and female.
And that female is tough.
Once when the red half moon male had white spot she had white spot with him.
She also was in a tank where my crown tail male had dropsy!
She did not get a disease then but my crowntail died.
I will try too feed them that combination.
I have bn, microworms, tetra prima food ( I can crushed it and gave it to them) and BABY FISH FOOD FOR EGG LAYERS.
Hi Rooivlerkie. It's my pleasure.

Ok the smallest fry are 8-10 mm long. The medium fry are 1.2 cm long. And the large fry are 1.5 cm long.
I think there are about 5 of the large ones.

On 7 weeks
There are 3 big ones. I think one is a male. He chases everybody around the tank. He looks like a half moon.
And then there is one who looks like a crown tail. There is also an other one whitch body is blue and its fins are red. I can`t tell the tail yet.
The other is still to small to see their tail

I have surviving 5 fry.
Two ae the big ones. I had six but a gave one away for a friend. I should have had more but the bullies had decide to eat the very small fry. I found them wiht the fry in their mouth. One was deformd and I got rid of him.
All these are females. And they are almost ready to breed.
I am sure one is a half moon female. I think the other is half moon with crown tail spikes.
I will try to post pictures later if I can get those bettas to hang still.
