Check out Tropica's web site -full of really good info..
Sauron - what about the nile cabbage and duckweed ???? BTW do you need some food for the oscars - we have about 40 kribensis juveniles that need somewhere to go....
sauron - what about some onion plants?
I think that's what Zafgak said you mentioned last time on the phone?
But aren't those bulbs (bolle in Afrikaans) and need to grow from substrate?
I was hoping to find something to cover up the upper level of my aquariums as both are pretty bare from the middle to top.

Hi
Seems like this thread has gone off the rail? A plant thread and we are talking kribs?
Anyway, can somebody please tell me if there are plans to do another import of these nice plants?
There are definitely plans to import more plants Laure - I just can't give you a definite date at this stage.
Should anyone have any special requests please send me a PM and we'll see what we can do. Please make it a PM as often requests get lost amongst all the other posts :)
I don't know bugger all about plants, I just want to add some greenery to the upper levels, and I figure drifting plants are also less maintenance.
Then again I'm -afewgrandinmymoer, so won't be able to buy anything before end of the month.

yep, lots of people come asking at the nursery about this or that floating water plant, (we dont really keep anything completely aquatic, more along the waterfeature line) but we cant get those anymore, as they're all classified invasive
(i dont know if there are Any floating plants allowed anymore in sa?)
henk, i read in my little "practical aquarium" file that for aquariums its better to cut back the onion plant leaves? apparently it said the plant blocks light? that true? or is it a straightup growing leaf?
Pm Sent I hope there is some plants left
PM sent. Holding thumbs.:p
