Fine Black Substrate

Doesn anyone know where I can get Black substrate, about as fine as builders sand, or a little finer.

Hagen/Marina is your best bet, but you'd probably need the LSF to order for you.

I had some from willgo in pietermaritzberg, PM me if u want more details, its quite fine (about 1mm ) and looks great underwater (very dark). Oh and it was cheap too, R50 for 5kg, prob cheaper if u get it direct from them.

Gilbert how does the dirt/crap show up on the white sand?

I've used sand for the first time with the new tank, but in black, and it looks absolutely terrible so far, thinking of going back to gravel while it's still less of a mission.

Check with sponsors first, but if you don't come right, check with Tropical Amazon in Brackenfell Industria....they almost always have
