View Full Version : Pressurrised CO2 from soda stream bottle ?
Has anyone heard about converting a soda stream bottle into a diy co2 reactor ?
I believe this will be a better option than going the co2 yeast route.

the sera regulator fits the soda stream bottles, i was using a bottle a week, due to there not being a solenoid and having it run for 24/7...
you can also get paint ball cylinder regulators with solenoids off ebay

Slojo posted a great DIY build for this - just cant find the link now....
It has been done but the trick is to rig something,a regulator of some sort,to safely release the gas.You need a continuous, small amount of gas.And then the cost.I think those cylinders are expensive to refill or exchange.
This all gets very interesting.
I should maybe rather use the fire extinguisher for this project.
