no, it's not a new kind of catfish :)

Last night, while cleaning my tank the round glass sucker that anchors my filter's outlet broke. Filter is a Fluval 104.

any idea where I can get a couple of these suckers?

Im also looking for some, had a look at all our LFS,but no1 has!!

Maybe a hobby shop? we have a large plastic shop in the West Rand, will pop in over the weekend and find out, and let you know!

lfs should be able to order u one.. esp if its a fluval..

i stopped by pet stop this afternoon and brought home a bracket with 2 suckers and adjustable ties on the front.
a whole astronomical R20 later and my fluval's outlet is now secure against the glass again.

fyi checkers sells packs of them for around R 15 for 10 ... (smaller ones)

Yeah,but not supporting your LFS will lead to us going out of bussiness and where do you go to by your fishies then? We are not out there to constantly rip you off,but have a heart,we gotta make a living too...By all means - think out of the box on everything you do - but when we as an contientious LFS go out of our way to save our clients a buck or two....

Sorry,but do you even know whether the Checkers ones are from Food grade plastic? How long will their suckers last as the where obviously not intended for aquarium use

well said. I for one know who I would rather support. a LFS and TASA sponsor whom are passionate about fish, or a big corporate?

lol, and since I did buy the suckers from pet stop in the first place :)
