Hey guys still semi new to fishkeeping, but when I do something I go big!
I started planted tanks about a year ago really helped out alot there,
now I have three 1.2m main tanks and about 20 random plant prorogation tanks + a large pond...
The reason I joined this forum is to meet other enthusiasts and maybe trade rare and beautiful plants and other things down the line.:blink1:
Here is a pic of my favorite tank: I have since added an HC carpet to the empty spot in the front and let the plants grow out abit....
(ok well turns out I cant post pics:p)
so ya looking froward to learning as much as I can from you guys...
welcome :marchmellow: would love to see pics when you do eventually get then up!

Yeh, well you are the one who convinced me to join after a drink or two:tee:
So anyway whats the deal with this site, are you allowed to talk about blacklisted plants and inverts? / whats the attraction as apposed to saff or apsa not that im wanting to step on any toes, this seems like a great site(very modern compared):top:

stunning tank mate! what substrate are you using...
Basically you talk about them.... just not say you have them, trade them or tell anyone where you can find them :D

Ok fair enough!
The substrate is a complex mix of garden soil, sierra pot mix, laterite, nails, trace elements, initial sticks, cactus pot mix, and some other things I cant remember toped off with gravel I literally took from a river...
all in all it works beautifully for the plants but I cant have any loaches that dig around in the gravel, oh and it is currently sitting at over 4w/gallon of lighting..
