lol of the 5 fishies that made it, 4 are male and 1 female. She manages to keep all her men happy though :p I've got 3 more healthy babies. Will have to wait and see whot they gonna turn out to be :blink1:

Really nice, they sort of remind me of coelacanths :), strange association, but whatever floats my boat.

Wow he's so big already. Time flies. Congratz on raising a beautiful, healthy fishy ;) When I turn off my tank light and let the sunlight shine on them, their color is just amazing. Like a very shiny shimmery blue/sea green. I will upload some new pics.

Yes these fish are extremely beautiful, I am considering buying eggs online so that I can breed them, shipping the eggs can get a bit pricy though. I have sourced the exact co-ordinates, the names of the 3 people who collected this fish and the general date of the collection trip for these fish, its so interesting how unique they are!

Never kept annual Kilis before. Do they lay eggs and then die?
What happens if you don't allow them to breed?

MItchell

yes, pretty much. If they dont breed and you have no eggs you've lost the species.

Now they all grown up
