Looks great small_fry!
Is that a Keyhole Cichlid in the third pic?
Nope, I have a pair of Keyholes at home and don't look like that

Speaking of Jaguar, Ecopets & Aquariums have a few Jaguar Cichlids in stock at the moment. Really beautiful fish indeed

thanks LiftCrazy... yeah it is a green terror.
yeah you right solex69, jags are awesome fish, but are agro and get huge.
Are they known plant chompers? And how big do they grow too? I read up about them a while ago but can't remember anything about them except that they are very agressive fish and grow huge (sorry, I'm being lazy now for not googling)

Jag.... Mmm the king of fish, and yes, the do eat / kill / eradicate plants, in fact anything that moves. And that includes your hands in the tank, they are fully capable of drawing bolld with a bite, especially when breeding....
That one in the 4th pic looks like a female too, you interested in parting with her????

Thats normal.... have they started cleaning an area, or started chasing all the other fish into the opposite end of the tank??

nope havent started yet. the lighter of the 2 has started clearing the stones from under the big rock in the middle of the tank, and chases the syno from there. but nothing else....the lighter 1 also seems to flare and nip at the darker 1 every now and again.

Use a different angle bru; bring her with and tell her it's a romantic weekend away in the Cape. That way, you both score....in more ways than one :D

I would do it just to come see your tanks.....
a sight to be seen so I gather from what the guys (and gals) say.
The problem is that if I get to News Cafe in Belville, I will stay...
hehehe, think the guys and gals give me too much credit :) You should really make the trip to check phil's tank out...that is really a sight IMO

It is tempting, I would love to come spend a week or 2 in & around CT....
But all the spare cash is going into trying to get my plants/ tanks going....
I got something in my main tank, got home yesterday and it had wiped out 1/2 my fish.....
