yea Panorama is the better bet - they get fish from Rivendale hatchery - REALLY good malawis

Try some Giant Vallis.:bigsmile:
Fish - The Vallis is good but remember to anchor it between rocks so the Malawis will not dig it up. You can also tie Anubias to the rocks and they will soon settle there -
Malawis are very effective sand movers. Also lots of rocks and caves as well as an open area to swim in.
If you are in CT the water is on the soft side so add some shells to bring your carbonate hardness up. Possibly mix some shell substrate into your sand. Just use polished substrate so there are no sharp edges to the shells and sand.
Lighting does not have to be overly bright, the Vallis and Anubias will thrive in low to medium light.
A dark background shows up the colours of the fish.
