Hi All

We are about to import some Flubenol 15 .. It can be stored for 10yrs plus as it does not absorb moisture etc..

If anybody needs some, give us a shout and I can add to the order

..Also If you need Metrozianidole, still have some left

Hey Zaf;
What is Flubenol 15?

Zoom - In simple terms it is one of the best, if not the best de-wormer (anti-helminthic) in the business. No overdose problems, works like it hates all worms with a passion, very safe, very fast, very effective, no long duration treatments, and worms cannot build a resistance to it..
The con is that it is EXTREMELY hard to get hold of.

It has been recently superseded by praziquantal, but prazi is MUCH more expensive, not easy to get hold of, and I am not too sure of overdose effects.

Very important for wild-caught fish as well, just in case they have any nasties on them...

How much can one expect to pay?

Zoom - Generally NO !!! It is only if needed - if you QT your fish you should be good.
Salmon - Yea the Wilds need to be done regularly

I am waiting for shipment to arrive - then I can the give the cost

In my opinion all wild caught and imported fish should go through a quarantine period to get rid of any parasitic nastiest at the wholesalers

Agreed - but generally the wholesalers want to get rid of the fish ASAP, remember stock on the shelf costs money.

And unfortunatly there is a attitude of "rather dye in your tank then in mine"

Hey Zafgak,

What happened to this order? Got some Apisto's with worms. Down side is that they are in a Discus community tank with 2 breeding pairs, so need to make a plan fast

You need to quarantine them as the worms might spread to your other fish.
Look out for some Levamisole

neilh shipment is a week or two away - Panorama has a dewormer that I mix into the bloodworm, used it for angels and discus with good results..
