hey all .
had my 3yr olds scooter go thru my 1.2m yesterday.Is completley trashed
so now ive got all the fishies in one tank its way overstocked but hopefuly I can keep every one alive untill I can get a replacement .atached a pic of current state of affairs.sory bout quality
1 x pangasius
2 x oscar
1 x black shark
2 x archer
2 x pleco
1 x redtailshark
1 x pictus cat
1 x parot
1 x malawi

any advice

no advice except your archer generally would prefer slightly brackish water from what i can remember when doing research...

BTW sorry to hear about your tank...thats terrible!!!:eek:

Take them (the fish ) to your local fish shop. Hopefully they have a spare tank to house your fish till you fix or replace your tank. Be specific an put a NOT FOR SALE SIGn ON IT.

Hey stormbringer just so you don't feel all alone......I just blew up 2 heaters, in my angelfish baby tanks....eish. That should teach me not to try and do water changes when I have the flu and my brain cells are dead!!!

So where's the pics???

Nah luckily not - it was el-cheepo heaters which we had to purchase MANY of in a hurry. We are currently swopping all the el-cheeopo's for Jagers, so not too great a loss I guess but still a MAJOR inconvenience!

lol, no, I'm just a bit intrigued, that's all. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person that wants to see the pics :)

Besides, I also have had some accidents of my own. Blown electronic ballasts, shocked myself into the next millenium, blown heaters, broken internal & HOB filters. Yah, so I could have been nominated for a few darwin awards in the past :)
