Hi all

Over December while I was away I some bad luck and ended up losing almost my entire collection. I was so bummed by the experience that I sold the few remaining fish to a forum member with the idea of taking a bit of a break from the tanks. But after about a week I couldn't take looking at empty tanks any more so I set up my 2 foot and my 3 foot.

Nothing exciting is happening in my 2 foot it's just cycling to be used as a QT tank but I decided to do a DIY background for the 3 foot and start a shellie colony tank. Unfortunately finding shellies is proving easier said than done so in the mean time I am going to stock the 3 foot with julis. Here are a few pics of the tank, it's waiting for it's new inhabitants, hopefully I will have a chance to go look for them this weekend.

Nice looking tank bud. Julidochromis are very intresting fish to keep. Im sitting with about 3 batches of fry all about a month apart. The parents are great and all seems to be doing well. Keeping them at a stable PH of 9.0
I would love to sell you a few at a good price but they still tiny. The biggest are sitting at 2cm and the smallest @ about 0.5cm They really slow growers, the 2cm fry hatched mid December. I got some tropheus marlieri and duboisi if you keen. They beyween 6 and 8cm long.

Sorry for the typo, I meant Tropheus Moori not Marlieri. I was thinking of Julidochromis Marlieri.... 2 completly different fish.
