could you maybe edit Title . Malami means nothing to me...:p
Maybe "My Mixed Mid-Size Cichlid tank " ??
nice vid..good music
I'm sure you refering to Malawi.:blink1:
Are the smaller pointy faced ORANGE fish at the rear Leleupi( a Tanganyikan cichlids), or Aulonocara of some sort..very hard to ID form vid???
BUT, I see Central American Cichlids(convicts)..?maybe others too??
They aren't maternal mouthbrooders, and joint parental care will take up a larger area of your inhabitants' living ara..
Altogether vibrant and bright!
A word of advice, more territories make for better co-existence.
shorter sections of the slate(?), stacked up, make MORE overhangs and caves..
better for all the fish and less territory can be annexed ....hehe
Some of that slate-like rocklining the sides and/or back creates better bacdrop, more natural.
Obviously if you want panoramic view, you can limit the rock walling to one side...just a tip
Your fish will then position themselves at more places along the tank.
..and some harassed fish (and fry) will survive in the narrow spaces it affords.
Very nice effort though

Thanks everyone.
And @ Altum. i tried to change the title but it only changed the title in my first post. your welcome to change it if you want. The convicts in the tank are the least aggressive of the fish in that tank , they have been in there for about a year now. I will have to get back to you on the red ones as they came from a friend who had o leave the country for work.
Thanks for the advise as well I just got more slate after taking down my other tank. so More caves coming up. i moght even make some from PVC and hide it.
