Hi Guys

This is a basic guide on how to upload pics. This is more for new members or members who haven't yet figured it out.
There is more than one way to do this, here i will show you two easy ways.

1st one: Uploading directing from PC or URL

To upload a pic from your PC simply click the button in the red box, as shown in pic. This you will find at the bottom of a thread that is currently open E.G. 'Uploading an Image'

6648

Once you have clicked the 'Insert image' button this image will appear

6649

Selecting the button in the red box will allow you to insert an image from your PC's hard drive. Once button has been click a small window will appear allowing you to browse for your image. Depending on your OS browsing may vary. Here is an example on a vista OS.

6650

Now select an image

6651

A file like this should appear in your upload box.

You can select multiple files at a time. Once you have your files ready its time to uplaod them! Select the 'Upload File(s)' button

6668

This now should appear in your 'Quick Reply' box

6669

Please note: When using this method images will appear smaller in your post. Click the image to see full size (Once posted!)

Using the URL option:

Simply click the 'Insert Image' button

6670

Then click the 'From URL' tab
6671

If you are using Google Images, select the image once search. Then copy all the text in the address bar

Once copied, paste it here:

6674Then click 'Insert Image. Depending on your browser this should work. If an error occurs, drag the image into a new tab and copy and paste that text in the new tab in the URL bar, Shown above

An image should now appear in your quick reply box.

6673
For a quicker way you can simply drag the image to your text box. However this will now display the full image size.

2nd one: Upload VIA a online image sharer E.G. Image shack or photo bucket

For this guide ill be using Photo bucket

If you already have an account go to www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com/)
Enter your login details and click login in.

Pressuming you already know how to use photobucket click 'Upload Now'

Select your images you want to upload. Once selected and download click 'Save and continue to my album' (found on bottom or top right)

Now your image is upload. To use this image in one of your posts simply click the image you just uploaded. On the right hand side you should get this

http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/xx194/troyfish101/pic12.jpg

By 'IMG code' move your cursor just below it until you see a hand, then click. This now automatically copies the text.

Now go back to the forum and copy the text to your reply box. You can view this image by clicking 'Preview post' or submitting the post

Note: When using this method the images will now display at a much larger size such as the image above, however this is the longer method.

Hope you all understand, any questions please feel free to ask our members or MODS
