does anybody know how to get a perspex tank clear after it went "doff" from water damage or if its posible at all

Sorry Leslie - think you are stuck with it... but phone a perspex supplier and ask if there is a compound available to do the job...

thanx i will when they start working again in the new year its only the inside that is a little doff hehehehe maybe if i smoke something and get doff aswell it will look beter hehehe

Brasso,a soft cloth and elbow grease my friend.
Used to do that when i was a lot younger.

can some one please help how do i calculate the water volume of a 8 sided tank it have 8 sides of 15 cm by 38 cm

thanx Ferdie so lekke to have clever poeple around i just got a perspextank its 8 sided x 2 its two tanks linked together with like two bridges in between the two

Sounds interesting ... so if you add a nice sump you could end with say a 120 - 150l of tank .. - think such a configuration could make an interesting setup indeed - what filtration are you planning to use?

dont know yet was thinking the cheapest will be a ugf in each tank or a small sump
