Hi guys,
I'd like to get new lighting tubes for my tank... lightly planted with community fish. I've measured the tubes... they are about 60cm... (Is that a 2 foot tube), and the thicker type.
I have 2 tubes to replace in my tank... what type of globes should I be looking for... I'd like to obviously provide better lighting for the plants, but at the same time, also provide a better light to look into the tank. Currently the tanks has a yellowish/orange hue with the lights.
I've seen a lot of talk about T4, T5, T8 globes.... just don't know what I need to be getting.... I honestly thought an aquarium globe was a simple flouresent tube. :huh:
