Hi Guys
I will soon need to light up a 80cm deep tank and to do this efficiently i thought of 4X T5 and 2 MV or HID light to "highlight" some parts of the tank.
Does anybody can give me some hints where one would get that kind of light for a reasonable price in or around C.T.
Thanks and any suggestions welcome:blink1:

I may be able to help you with T5, and MH.
I have sold and advised on successful planted, AND Coral Reef Tanks deeper than 80cm...and you won't need ANY HID types.
Also consider LED Downlighter types , merely for accents or "highlights", and low power consumption...

As far as HID goes, MV are powerhungry and have narrow beneficial range, with way too much heat generated for the light output.
Colourwise, they are also limtired and have minimal aesthetics going for them..
MH , is more balanced, but also has the heat output.

Anyway, if you wish to...you can contact me with your email address via pm, and take it from there...
