Hi everyone ive got a nice planted tank with my recently acquired discus and long time peacock rainbows i also have panda corys and 2 German blue rams and a lot of Congo tetras.

Nway the tank has a lot of plants in, but its full of this nasty algae witch my Chinese algae eater doesn't eat , its hairy and some fish even get caught for a few seconds on it sometimes then there is also the brown snotty algae wich is mostly in my java furn.

I got 2 flying foxes yesterday but they died witch i think is coz the water is about 30degrees coz of the discus, i heard they could help a lot but now im out of options??

I would really rather not use any chemicals as im scared for my discus.

Can anyone help plz!?55715572

Mechanical removal I think is best way to try and get rid of this.
