Hmm, I might have a lookey tomorrow.

I'm keen to put some mileage on the bike before it gets serviced on Wednesday.

Any shops even further away, in the Wild West somewhere?

Yip yip - still set for the 6th June. If everyone who is interested in going can join the Cape Town Fish Keepers social group though so that we can finalise everything that would be great.

Dude, there's enough time in the day. Riebeeck Kasteel aint that far...we'll probably be there for about 2 - 3 hrs (including travel). All other LFS in CPT are close to each other.

So we meet at 9 at Aqua Terra, 30 mins at Aqua Terra, 15min drive to Tropical Amazon, 30 mins there. 15min drive to Panorama, 1 hour there. so now its already 1130 ish - some will be late :D

5min drive to Tropicum N1, 30 or 40 mins theres. then its a 15min drive to table view, 30 mins at Aquatic Pet City, 5 mins to those guys behind Mica, 30 mins theres....

Then 1H15 out to riebeek, 1 hour there, another 1H15 back...

Henk Hugo

we will get back from Riebeek at 5 or 6 - what about the braai?

Maybe we could 'just' do hartlands followed by a Braai, and then if we get back handy, we could nip somewhere else before the braai?? We could all meet at an agreed place before heading off to riebeek Kasteel so we can all car share!

After all, most people in Cape Town are able to travel to the various LFS's in the region, where as Hartlands is a bit 'outhere'!

how does that sound?? We can finalise in the CT fish keepers bitty rather than out here in the open!

Cheers
Big G!

@henk - I actually booked out the entire day for this get together considering this is going to be the first get-together of TASA, so I wasn't aware ppl are running against the clock here :)

I concur with Gareth. Let's all meet at one place 9am (eg, Panorama Pets, or N1 City, or wherever) and go straight to Hartlands in the Ross Batmobile (if that's still on offer/available). Once we get back from Hartlands, we can crawl to one or 2 LFS and then we can do the BBQ

I know a really really good place for tropical fish. So pop me a message and I can give you the details. Tell him Quinton sent you and he will make the effort he regularly imports specific fish on request and the quality is great. The best is to fax or phone him.

Please only serious people as it take a while to build a good relationship and an instant to ruin one
