Where is my thread?

Hi guys this is my second first post here on TASA. I have been lurking in the shadows for awhile now using that wonderful function called search. However I eventually needed to post a new topic and Im just wondering why after a week its still not up? I know it says that it needs to be checked by Mods first. What is the reason for this? I am a member on 2 other forums one of which has nearly 17000 members the other forum I am friends with the founder and most of the mods so I know what its like to run a large online forum. Surely you cant check every new thread that is posted? What is the criteria that my post failed to fulfill that caused it not to be posted. Sorry if I sound like Im ranting on my very first post but Im just kind of frustrated by what started as a very satisfying experience but seems to be changing.

Did you perhaps post your first post in the new member section?

It depends on what the new post was about. If it was about selling, or about a blacklisted species, the thread would have been deleted.

The thread was just about some suggestions for fish in a new tank Im setting up. I doubt I mentioned anything blacklisted and if I did perhaps a PM to new members explaining the issue would be nice. Im not to upset that the thread didnt go up I can always repost.I was more just curious as to why it was deleted perhaps it may just have got lost before a Mod could read and approve it. I realise that mods are human too (shock and horror) and do make mistakes. I do apologise again if my first post here has come across as being angry with TASA.

Just want to point out that another of my threads seems to have disappeared?!? It was supposed to be a log of my new tank but doesnt seem to have gone up. Am I just expecting it to go up too quickly or what?
