A gentleman by the name of Speedz elsewhere pointed me in this directions after I asked questions about AquaH2O tanks elsewhere, so I figured I might as well come and ask here.

Currently running a Jebo 70cm Corner tank with a mish mash of Malawi and other random things.

Planning to go large with an Oscar tank in the near future, thus the questions.

Website looks good, nice to see something local.

Welcome to TASA. I personaly pref a custome built tank...

Call me a snob if you like, I've just always much preferred the concept of buying all in one.

If I were a decent carpenter and could build my own cabinets to fit said custom tank I might have changed my mind on the matter.

I'll get some of the latest pics, although I should actually add the driftwood I got from AquaH20 first so it looks half impressive.

How much did they charge you per kilo SauRon?

SauRoN
10-05-2009, 23:17
R22 per kilo Sir, which to me seems like a bargain compared to what I remember single pieces cost at Panorama.

SauRoN

Will do Henk.

It's the same type as I had in my tank for the past 10 years or so, thus I'm not too worried, will post pics later once the tank settles.

Hey SauRon! You and i are in the same boat, i also like the All in one units so i also bought an Aqua H2O 1m / 250L Corner Unit tank and been loving it ever since. I haven't had any problems with yet.
How is your tank going? Can't wait for the pics!!!! :)

The tannins have settled somewhat, still a wee bit yellow.

That being said I'm picking up a second hand AquaH20 1,2m Bullet shape tank next weekend, so this tank needs to be moved this weekend to make space for the other.

So pics will have to wait for now :)

Ahhhhh!!! ok we can wait but know you'll enjoy the Aqua H20 Tank, they are a very nice make. I hope you don't mind me asking how much it cost second hand?

SauRoN

Guy originally wanted R3500, but then I told him I don't mind the price but can't come up with that money so fast so would pay R2500 and then another R1000 next month.

So he just said make it R3000 and we are square.

Anyway I just finished moving the Jebo Corner unit now, will wait for it to settle and then take some pictures to post.

Not a bad price for an Aqua H20 tank what a bonus!!! How did the Jebo move go it must have been a bit hectic! :)

SauRoN

Actually it was surprisingly easy, having removed the gravel as well this time.

Managed to move the tank and cabinet with the help of the girlfriend alone.

It only moved to the next room though, so the new tank can stand in it's place.

Seems to have cleared up by this morning.

Glad to hear the move wasn't as bad as we thought and the water has cleared up! What filter are you running on your H20 tank?

SauRoN
